Does anyone have the gluten free menu?? I received the packet but don't remember seeing any gluten free options.

Thanks Ladies!

Let me know if you need me to email it to you.

I also was given all the dinner menus from the resort (it shows, vegetarian, gluten-free and sugar-free meals).

I know! :-( The cost makes me sick to my stomach when I think about it..  Although it is cheaper than a wedding at home, it's still becoming more than I originally imagined this would be! My dad's shocked. When I mentioned a destination wedding, he envisioned it would be us and maybe a few family members, possibly about 10 people TOTAL... I kept telling him more people would come but he didn't believe me... I guess I can understand, out of 50 people coming, only 10 are from our side! The rest are me and my FI's friends and his side of the family!

We keep telling ourselves that too...but it's so easily getting out of control, and man, the costs keep climbing. We have 40 adults, 3 children- only my parents and two sisters are coming from my family, the rest are friends and his family as well!  Throw in an AHR 3 wks after we return, and my FI's head is going to spin right off. I'm more open to the costs, but he's starting to pinch every penny, which causes us to fight hahaha!  I asked him last wk, if it was too late to elope to Vegas....

Is anyone else having a major problem with pilar not responding to emails? She used to get right back to me, then it started taking a while (maybe a week or so) and now nothing, ever. And our wedding is 2 months away so now I'm getting anxious for answers to my questions.

I have heard this from numerous people but eveyone seems to say that they come through in the end and make everything great. We are dealing with Deisy and she is helpful, but replys are at least a week apart. We have learned that is part of the process.

That being said I know there are friends of ours thinking about booking last minute.. (which I am not too happy about) only because I would like to have a better oversight of who is coming and who is having what for dinner so I can arrange a seating chart and hammer out the details when the time commes. I don't want to leave everything until last minute because people are trying to get a deal... Anyone else feeling like this right now? I know that the dinner choices need to be in 45 days prior to departure and I am going to try and politely let those that are planning on booking last minute know..

Made me upset too but I have a few people who don't have a choice but to wait. I told everyone who didn't do the early booking that they had until 2.5 months before to tell me if they're coming. You have to RSVP for a normal wedding up here and it's harder down there so I don't think that's out of line. Just give your last minuters a deadline to tell you if they will be attending or not.

Hi Remykion!

That's exciting we are both getting married the same day! I am getting married at 5pm, what about you???

Hi,

I know it is so exciting.....we get married at 11am.  I am alittle worried that the morning with hair and make up will feel rushed but if Im sure I will be up early enough with excitement.  My FI would be totally slurring his words if we got married at 5pm as it is an all inclusive resort LOL.

I am sure that I have read in earlier posts that there is another wedding on Nov 1st as well as us 2 :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
