I am having one of my BM do my hair b.c she is a hair stylist. This way I can do a trial ahead. I traded the free hair for a make up trial with the resort. This way if I dont like it I can just do my own make up and use that one one of the BM. Also when I read all of the resort reviews most girls were pretty happy with the spa, but they did say they brought photos and that the spa used A LOT of hair spray making your hair pretty hard- although with the humidity and wind in Mayan Riviera may not be such a bad thing with hair that makes it all night long.

If yes, then they put like 8 cans which cost $350 together and it gives a special lighting effect. You just have to tell Pilar/Deisy. We are doing pink

Our reception was in the Bamboo Room 2 weeks ago. I never talked about lighting with Pilar but we did have the pink lights during the dinner and dancing. The DJ turned them onand off randomly. We did not pay extra for this.

I used them and was very happy. She used a little more make up than I expected but everyone loved it. I showed her one pic from Pintrest for my hair and she did a great job replicating it.

What prices are you ladies getting for the prefered club room? If you are choosing this option.

1550 is a great price! how long ago did you book?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
