I would love a copy emailed to me :)

The biggest thing I'm struggling with right now is the music .. Whether to have the guitarist for the ceremony or cocktails. Has anyone had them for both??

@@leggi - your welcome Im liking the violinist too ♡.. i got lucky and picked my dress at the firat place I went too ..don't stress you'll know when you find the right one !

@@Jennifer146.. sent you both guitarist and violinist... seems a lot of people on here used guitarist but I really like the violinist

Whichever one i choose I'll be using them for the ceremony.... think everyone during cocktail hour will be around taking pictures and drinking don't think I really need music during that time

Yes thank you!! I forgot you're two days before our wedding and I feel like your more organized :) this helps thanks. For some reason I can't open the guitarist site but I'm pretty sure that's the way I'm leaning towards. But the violinist gave me goosebumps .. Oh the emotions!!! Lol

@@Jennifer146 I'll try sending it again

I don't feel very organized lol I feel like I have way to many notes on what I have to do.. my problem is slot of what to do I have to wait till final head count so I can do seating chart, get my centerpieces. And finish oot bags etc.

I don't think I'm going to crazy with linens and things just going to get chair bows.. i went to a wedding in Aruba this year and can tell you I dnot even remember looking at what the table linens and centepieces were so I'm not stressing it to much.. I'm just doing luminears as table numbers and centerpieces found nice ones on etsy

I'm having trouble deciding on what flowers to do ..I sent her an idea and it would of been 350$ more which I was not going to do since they would b gone in a day

I am very jealous of all the planning!! The more I read this thread and look at Trip Advisor the more I feel that Now Jade is the place I want to pick. Unfortunately, Sunwing from Montreal was very expensive (much cheaper to book online) and West Jet is taking forever to respond. Starting to cause me stress. Did anyone have issues getting group packages or did all the guests book separately online?

Hello, congrats! I am nearing the end of the planning! I have been very impressed with the Now Jade planning.

I ran into the exact same problems you are having.when I first started planning I got quotes from every single carrier in Canada and the prices were coming in at $1800 + per person to travel Saturday to Saturday. We wanted to keep ot under $1500 per person because closing in on $2000 is a lot to ask. From my experience we started talking to our guests and found out that there was a really big varience on people travel preferences, stop overs, night flights, time off, days of travel etc. what we ended up doing is making everyone responsible for their own travel arrangements but I helped most people book. This way it gave folks the freedom to choose their room catergory, if they wanted to use points and travel time. Our wedding is on the Thursday and we have people showing up at the resort the Friday before to the Tuesday before. We have some people coming for 4 days upto 2 weeks. I think we had a bigger turn out that expected because then people could customize it themselves. If you want to see how I did it visit our wedding website. Www,karlandstacey.com. I checked prices all the time and it was not a bad process at all.

I should also say we had oeople coming in from Vancouver, Victoria, Edmonton, Calgary, NFLD and the Yukon so that was another factor.

Thank you for your feedback. Initially, I had been looking at the Riu resorts which only have packages offered by Sunwing. I hadn't thought about people using points or wanting to having alternative travel dates. We are also aiming to select a destination around 1500 though some relatives are finding that really affordable and are afraid we are picking a 2 star hotel.

@@Natata

Thanks Natasha, I'm hoping I get that feeling that everyone talks about with the dress! I've tried on some lovely ones but not had "this is the one" yet. Starting to stress a little bit as I don't have much time left, apparently have to order by end of November to get it by end of April! I'm going to use the violinist for the ceremony too, very excited with the music. Hope we get to pick our songs, loving Canon to walk down the aisle to!

    • You can hire a graphic designer on Fiverr to create the wedding cards then just print them yourself. Another option so you can save money is to create the card how you want it on Canva and have them printed at a printing shop.
    • My wedding is coming soon, and I would like to know where I can find best wedding cards at affordable prices. I only find one store known as Lavenderpaperie.com where the cards are lovely and unique, But I want to know the other option name so that I can choose best wedding card. Please, if you have any suggestion on where to go, let me know. Thanks & Regards,

    • Hi Brides! I have a Wally Bag - 66" available - $90 + shipping (US only) The wally bag typically sells for $120-$180. I used this gown bag once to transport my dress from MN to Mexico for our wedding - IT WAS PERFECT!   I was actually able to pack 4 additional maxi dresses, and my husband's wedding attire, plus a few pairs of shoes and some jewelry. I packed the dress the night before we left, and just moments before we left, I zipped the bag and folded it - ready for travel. It comes up with a nice over-the-shoulder strap, making it really easy to carry through the airports. No issues on Delta with the bag as my carry-on - I chose to put in the overhead bin, but the flight attendant did offer to hang it in the closet for me. Once we got to the resort, about 10 hours after I first folded the bag, I unpacked the bag and my dress was perfect - no wrinkles! My dress was mostly lace and had a bit of a train, but it arrived perfectly!  Honestly, this is the best way to travel with your dress!
