Another question- What are people using for their "musician" for the music that is included in the devine package? And are you using them for the ceremony or the cocktail hour? I thought there was a caribbean trio but now I don't see that option.

Well over the last few days I have had lots of communication with Isela and as we have a total of 25 in our group we have decided that the Divine package is our best option. We have made some changes to the day and instead of getting married at 11am @ the Beach, cocktail hr 4-5pm at the Orange Lounge (I may try and change it to the blue beach bar if its available) and reception 7-10pm @ castaways. It would have been difficult trying to keep everyone together from 11am and a long day to be wearing my dress! I feel more settled now that we have a private reception rather than an al a carte one. Only downside is that we are not in a position to upgrade the photography so will only have the one in the divine package i guess we will just have to rely on pictures from friends and family, it's a good job they are all snappy happy. Feel excited now 5 weeks xxxx

We are moving ours to the cocktail hour as well. I think the Divine package includes the system at the ceremony as well (from what I can tell with the planning form). I am sending in my planning form in a few days so I will let you know if I am wrong about this.

I have the Devine package and was thinking of using the guitarist all along for the ceremony. After thinking a little bit about it, I thought it would be nicer to have the live music at the cocktail hour (one of the reasons I thought this was because we didn't get our first choice of cocktail hour locations. I really wanted the beach bar but we ended up with the orange lounge.. I heard that the orange lounge isn't very private and there will be many other people possibly hanging around.) I thought that the live music would keep my guests in one place and make it seem more "cocktail-y" and as if it's part of a wedding. Hopefully people staying at the resort would respect the gated-off area this way. I only plan on using the live music for the cocktail hour if it's free to have a sound system at the ceremony. I don't plan on spending more money for music. I'll let you know what I find out!

Hi heathersierra, We too have the orange lounge for our cocktail hr and I also really wanted the beach bar :-( I'm still going to push for it. My understanding is that if you do not have the live band at the ceremony you have to pay for the music system but I'm going to double check with Isela later today. We are hiring the music system for our reception so I don't really want to hire it for the ceremony aswell. There is lots of extra costs if your not careful isn't there? :-( Xxx
