So the real question is, is Vacations4less completely legit to use for traveling?

Paranoia is setting in because I keep hearing stories of these destination weddings that start off great with planning and then at the last minute everything goes kaput!

Thanks ladies!

Michelle,

I don't know anything about that travel agency, but the destinationweddings.com people are awesome, and definitely legitimate. I have known other people who have used them for DWs, and said they couldn't do it without them. Hope this helps : )

A question about symbolic ceremonies, does anyone know how many days prior you are required to arrive? I know there is a requirement for legal ceremonies but I can't find any info on symbolic & pilar hasn't replied to me in over a month. :S

For symbolic, you have to arrive 3 days prior to the ceremony : )

I don't think this is true. Are you sure about this? I'm having a symbolic ceremony and I am not arriving 3 days prior. Where did you hear this?

As far as I know there are no restrictions on when you get married if it is a symbolic ceremony / vow renewal. I do know that if you are having a legal ceremony you have to be in Mexico for 4 full business days to get married at Now Jade..

Thanks! That's what I thought. We are getting married on a Friday and arriving on a Wednesday for a symbolic ceremony.

We arrived on Sunday, went over everything with Pilar on Monday and the wedding was absolutely perfect on Tuesday :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
