OFFICIAL NOW Jade Wedding Thread

All we did was rent their sound/light equipment in the bamboo room. My FI just set up his laptop/ipod next to it and had his own playlist that we both worked on very hard! This would be much cheaper. Also, the sound equipment includes a wireless microphone and Dave's best man just announced the first dance and the boquet toss and stuff so we really didn't need one!

Hi Jenvinet, that would be amazing.  We are looking for the wedding planning form and I guess there is a DJ form as well? If you could send us all the forms you were given that would be very much appreciated! I will give you two email addresses if thats ok. kristyleebouchard@hotmail.com and brian.short@beamglobal.com Thank you so much for helping us out. I sure hope Deisy gets back to us soon. Our wedding is only 3 short weeks away!

Those flowers are pretty! They are called Pom Poms? I've never heard of them. They almost look like daisys! Were these included in your package? I only need a bouquet for myself and my MOH and I'm hoping to keep the price reasonable and just chose whatever is included in the package for myself and just get a smaller version for my sister.

Wherever you are able to cut costs is important, but our brides are always So Glad! they didn't scrimp on the cost of getting a professional photographer and spent the money for one to capture their day of lifelong memories for them.......so would suggest that's one place not to cut back on. ........

Wishing you all the best with your research and finding ways to economize - to create the incredible wedding you've always dreamed of - Cheers :)

Pilar handled everything with the DJ for me. She emailed the DJ and then he emailed me with a form to fill out.

I didn't bring the menus, the wedding coordinators printed them for me and didn't even tell me they were doing them. I'm not sure if this is something they do all of the time though. If you want them, either ask them to print them or bring them yourself.

Hi,

Does anyone have Deisy and are they having much luck with her? We have asked 3 times for her to send the wedding planning form (that they request returned 45 days prior to wedding) and some confirmations on DJ, hair appointments, ect and we still have not heard from her.

Our Wedding is only 25 days and nothing!!! I'm so stressed. I wish we still had Pilar like we originally had but then we got given to Deisy :(

Any suggestions on what we should do?

Thanks for your time and congrats everyone!

I had Pilar and Deisy was the assistant. Both were awesome...Deisy was the one in charge of everything the day of and she was so helpful and super nice. Trust me...everything will be fine once you are the resort. You will have your meeting and go over everything for your wedding and you will be set!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
