Welcome Tinalynn and COngrats on your NOW Jade wedding in Jan !!! as you've already seen, there are lots of great resources here to help with your planning decisions.

 

One consideration we suggest our wedding couples look at when setting a timeline - is the sunset time on their Wedding Day. We suggest they leave 2 hours before sunset for their newlywed photo shoot to capture that luminous GOLDen light of sunset that makes such magical images!!!

Hi everyone! I'm strongly considering having my wedding at Now Jade but I'm worried about the actual number of guests staying at the resort as it is costly. Pilar told me that 80% of the guests are required to stay at the resort but I haven't seen this in any brochures, only that outside guests must purchase a day pass. Does anyone have any experience with guests staying off resort, and if you have to pay a penalty if you don't meet the 80% requirement? Thanks!

In case you haven't already seen it, here's a link to the Now Jade's FAQ page with a "live chat" window available there to ask any question you have directly.....like whether they have a penalty if 80% of your guests are not staying at their resort.

Hi there,

My fiance and I are set to get married on Dec 7th, 2018 at Now Jade.

We have estimated guests of 50+ and we are now in communication with the coordinator (Emmanuel Munoz). We are looking to book the Divine Package. We are finding the extra costs are getting out of hand and we wanted to see if any of you have any suggestions for the following..

1. We would need about extra 25 guests to add to the package. He mentioned it will be $95usd! On the Wedding Guide it mentioned for the Divine Dinner it will be $53USD per person, Cocktail Hour $15 USD per person.. I'm just a little confused? Anyone had to add additional guests to their package? If so, what were the costs?

2. DJ Services: I've read on here it's better to book externally as the Vendor provided by the resort is pricey. We got quoted for 5 hrs  of service for $1000 USD. Anyone have thoughts or suggested DJs? I also emailed Doremixx and Disco Movil and both of them said they are not allowed on this resort?

3. Photographer: The package includes with Adventure Photos, anyone have experienced with this vendor?

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
