I was in super panic mode the past month or so, I'm finally calming down! I think I'm just at the point where I just want to enjoy every moment, and it is what it is. I'm sure everything will be perfect and I'll completely forget about the little things once we're there. (: so I hope!!

Are you using your guitarist for the cocktail hour? I can't decide if I want to use it for the ceremony or cocktails...

Anyone planning on using water beads in their centerpieces? Seems like an easy, lightweight way to fill vases and things.

i used water beads... i love them! so easy to transport and then they just fill up with water and look awesome

I am not sure about how they are setup in the bamboo room either. I sent in my final planning paperwork to Pilar last Tuesday and have not heard back yet.

 

I requested to have rectangle tables setup in a big square so everyone is facing each other. We have 30 people and are not having a dance floor so I thought this would be fun. We have 80 people joining us but only have immediate family and friends going to the reception dinner... instead of paying the $80/per person for the reception dinner we are paying for a 5 hour party boat instead for everyone.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
