How was the weather for your reception? My concern about the terrace is that there isn't air conditioning and I don't want my guests to be uncomfortable.

It was def hot and we were sweating after all the crazy dancing but its really not so bad. Having dinner is nice there, there is a cool breeze from the ocean. I wouldnt of switched it.

If anyone would like to share their pics pls email me lovinmylilone@yahoo.com. I am submitting my reservation tomm (yay) but just need some reassurance on my choices lol. I am doing beach ceremony and bamboo room reception. I will try and negotiate the cocktail hour for maybe the extended hour reception but know everything is kind of up in the air with exchanges. If I can't exchange I will just do cocktail hour with no extras over 25 bc we are expecting approx 35 and the wedding party will be doing pics. What is the best place for cocktail hour if receptions on the beach? I have spent the past 4 days reading most of the posts on here but everything's sorta a blur now. Last night I was babbling nonsense in my sleep bc I think I read the last 150 posts after taking a Benadryl to force myself to sleep lol

Let me know if you get the additional hour instead of the cocktail reception. that seems like a great idea!!

 

I'm sure everything can be quite overwhelming. I have booked in and my wedding is May 22, 2015 at the NOW Jade. I couldnt be more excited and happy about my decision!

 

Read some of the reviews. they tend to have pictures.

 

My cocktail hour is at the Mix bar, ceremony at pergola and our reception is on the terrace since I only have 30 people coming.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
