wow this looks so weird now! but kinda cool.....

 

Anyways, I found out yesterday we have 70 people booked. :huh: so panicing a little bit now, money wise!!! AHHH

 

How  many people were you expecting? 70 seems like so many! haha

I agree. the new site is weird, it has taken some getting used to. 

Is anyone else having problems with links not showing up in the forum? LInks to PDFs and stuff?

well we budgeted for 50 people but really were not even expecting 50! Everyone made a deposit at the last minute. Its bitter sweet! Love that they are all able to make it but its certainly going to hurt my bank account lol.

Definately, it seems like once you get past the 25 people it becomes very expensive, very quickly. We were already planning a small gathering, even before booking here and looking at the packages, and even if EVERYONE we invited come, we'll only be over the children, we have 25 adults exactly invited.  SO we just got really lucky :)

 

I agree that it is nice they can all make it though. It will be a memorable time!

I guess thats the problem when your mom has 6 brothers and sisters and your dad has 12! yikes, oh well. nothing we can do now, right? just gotta try and save some money in other places i suppose!

Whoa! that is why we invited only our immediate family and close friends, because my parents also have a ton of siblings!

Does anyone know if there are any cool bars at the resort for after the wedding and dinner? I'm thinking we will have ~20 guests, which may not be enough to enjoy a typical dance/DJ. Looking for a good place to take the guests the night of the wedding for some dancing and good music.

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
