We had 25 guests (including bride and groom) so a sweetheart table with 3 round table 2 tables with 8 and 1 table with 7. It was perfect x
Where did you have your reception at? That is about the same number of guests I will have, but I'm worried about the room looking empty? Did you have music and everything? Dancing? With less people I'm just a little unsure of what I should plan? Help?!

The room itself was great for us, still room for a couple more round tables but the way she organised it for us was perfect. We didnt have a dj and i refused to pay 800 usd for a dancefloor so we just hired the music sys so that we could play our ipod. When isela took me to castaways to show me the setup she said and thats your dancefloor which was the other section of castaways so i was happy with that. If im completely honest it was a very hot long day and by 9:45pm i was completely shattered and so was some of my guests, by the time the speeches were done and food was served it was almost time to wrap up anyway so for me personally im glad i didnt waste money on dj's, dancefloors (because the one in castaways was a big dance floor anyway) and all the other extras. We stuck with the divine package with a few tiny additions and it was great Xxxxx

Thank you! That makes me feel better. I think currently we have the bamboo room booked but I'm under the impression it's a bigger room. And with only 4 tables I don't want it to look bad. I feel the same, and we'll probably just go with the sound system then! I'm pretty sure our big ticket item will be a photographer. I at least want to have great photos if only 25 people are going to be able to see it in person!

I'm really happy you liked Castaways. Originally it wasn't our first choice, but I think it should work out well. How did you find the temperature in the room in the evening?

My friends or family, wasn't very versatile and didn't really have much of a clue.

You get 26 with the package and we had no problems reducing it from 269 to 31 because they were pretty rubbish, saying that he gave us the extra 5 but would only out them on the disk and not in the book for a tip! We did manage to pick the best 31 but to say I was disappointed is an under statement, we just wasn't in a position financially to get a outside photographer.

I will upload some of the ones he took so you can have a look

Congrats on your wedding! You look beautiful! I am using Adventure Photos and have the devine package for my wedding in February. We booked them for the entire day, plus a trash the dress shoot.  Now I'm worried that we made the wrong choice! Your photos look amazing to me, but if you think they weren't very professional then maybe I should reconsider? How much extra did people have to pay to use an off site photographer? I think I am adding around 1000$ for the entire day and trash the dress. Is that worth it?

How many guests did you have? Congratulations newlywed! How many guest did you have? We are doing the divine package and I'm starting to get nervous that we will have more than 25 ppl. Any idea on the cost of additional guests? Thanks
We had exactly 25 guests. Because we had a legal ceremony we had to pay for the judges fee and translation of the certificate we also had to pay blood tests for both me and my husband. This had to be paid directly to the judge and doctor in cash which was a total of £310 GBP and then it cost approx £2180 GBP for the divine package. The only extras we added was: Music system for the reception 2 extra boutinere's 3 hot pink runners for the tables at the reception 1 bag of petals for the flower girl My Bridesmaids had fans so we didn't need bouquets for them and I took a basket for the flower girls petals. If your Bridesmaids are having bouquets I would highly recommend that you use them for your centre pieces at your reception if you have more than 3 tables. It costs alot of money to purchase extra centrepiece flowers and its such a shame at the end of the evening when you cant take them home. We had enough flower decorations from the ceremony to cover the sweetheart table and 2 other tables so I used my bouquet for the 3rd table which Adraina had already put a vase on there for me to put it. They make it look beautiful without you really having to spend too much extra outside of the package. I have no idea how much it costs for additional guests.....sorry. Xxx

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
