Can somebody confirm if the price to set up the chairs etc is included in the packages? And also, what is the difference between the eternity and divine dinner menu/choices?

Thanks!

I believe the price for set up is included in the the Eternity or Divine Package. I've read that they charge you a $40 tip to relocate chairs from wedding to the reception dinner if you have the chairs decorated with flowers etc. As for the dinners themselves they are listed in the wedding  brochure Page 36

I also read that you can choose your main course from either the eternity or divine package if you choose the divine package.

Hope this helps  :o)

Yes, we did!  It is great to hear that your wedding went well.  It was definitely a memorable day.  Now Jade did a great job.  All that planning and in the end it works out great.  :)

Enjoy newlywed life.  :)

Hey Everyone!

Im about 7 months away from our wedding and although i still have time it seems like its coming so fast!!!! Im going to order invitations soon and im thinking of mailing them out beginning of january and asking for the RSVP by March 1st. Our wedding is may 16th.. does this timing sound about right?

For past brides or any brides to be.. has anyone not given the dj a set list of songs and just let them wing it? I am going to give a few specific songs that must be played like our wedding song and mother son and father daughter dances but I am just soo bad with remembering names of songs and artists... Im thinking about just telling the DJ the type of music we like and hopefully they will just play good songs? I dont know if this is risky to do... any suggestions? OHHH and one more thing.. where are you ladies planning on going for your honey moon if you plan on leaving now jade?   I want to move onto a different resort  still in riviera maya area for about 5 or 6 days to honeymoon but not sure where to go.

We're less than two months out and I'm just going to give the DJ some specific songs like you mentioned then tell them the kind of music we like. I'm sure you can always make requests while dancing. I can send you the DJ planning form if you PM me your email. That way you can get a better idea of what the DJ needs from you.

We are going to Secrets Maroma for our honeymoon week. We are excited as we have heard nothing but wonderful things about the place but I will give a review when we get back.

I just received an e-mail from Isela saying that Deisy no longer works at Now Jade!  I told her that a few things needed to be updated on my wedding contract and she said that it was in Deisy's files and she didn't have access to them!  I am freaking out!!!  She is messing with all of my scheduled dates and stuff!  We leave in less than 2 weeks!  What am I gonna do?!?

OMG, are you kidding? So Pilar is pregnant and the new girl has no idea what the hell she is doing? GREAT!

Ok, so let's fix it. Email Isela your updated wedding form. Just literally forward her all the emails you have sent Deisy. All will be good. You will still have an amazing day! If you need me to do anything that day, let me know. I will be there early afternoon

Anyway, I got an email from Deisy (whom I've been talking to for over a year and met in person to discuss all the details), that our wedding coordinator has now changed to Isela. This makes me kinda nervous! Has anyone had Isela or is she new?

Thanks,

Lauren

Freaking out about the recent changed I checked this website: http://www.cancunweathertoday.com/advisories.php

You're in the clear, Lauren. And your wedding will be AMAZING! Can't wait for you to come back with pictures! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
