Hi Remykion!

I have the Divine but we hired an outside photographer, I think you can have them take extra pictures if you go with the resort photographer but you might be charged more money (not too sure).

I believe only the white table cloth is included any other colors you have to pay extra.

Since we are getting married the same day! I was wondering where you chose your reception area? We have the Terrace right now and have 30 people attending, we might change to the Bamboo room.

Hi

Well we were initially tailoring our wedding as we have the moments package but everything is adding up so we was going to have  our reception in one of the restaurants but and i received an email this morning from Isela Juarez recommending that we upgrade to either the eternity or the Devine, after looking at them both they are within our budget and there is so much more included except for the photography package which is only 1 hour, I wanted them to cover the getting ready, ceremony and then family photo's.

I wonder if they will allow us to upgrade to the 3 hours and we just pay the difference in cost?

So we have not chosen a reception area yet....leaving it late I know but as I said we were having a restaurant reception but I have gone off that idea now lol.

I really think I am going to go with the devine and try and increase or maybe swap the guitarist for extra photgraphy time :-)

We are having a legal wedding so we have to pay for blood tests aswell :-(

In terms of the white line, i am happy with that because i will be having hope pink bows on the chairs and I will be taking hot pink favours for the table so i am sure it will all look lovely.

Not long now :-)  I have heard there are hurruicanes in Mexico at the moment hope it clears for when we arrive

Hi Jules,

I heard that s how long it takes too.

How was your wedding day, was it how you imagined and asked for?

Do you have any tips?

Where did you get married and have the reception?

Did you have just the photog that was included in the package and if so how was it, how long were they with you and would you recommend getting additional photog?/

Sorry about all the questions but im getting a little nervous as flying out in under 2 weeks.

Congratulations on your wedding

Tash

Dont worry, everything will be just fine.  We did the your moments package, so we rented the italian restaurant for dinner that night, (which the food is amazing).  We had a very small wedding and did not have many of the extras that the other packages offer.  We had the wedding on the beach on the preferred side next to the pool.  The day was perfect!!!  Trust me Daisy and Carmon will take good care of you.  Just make sure when you meet with them when you get there you tell them everythng you want.  I was kind of nervous about them getting my dress de wrinkled from the plane ride but it turned out perfect.  I actually had a friend that is a photograher and she came with us so I dont have a lot of info on the pictures.  Also dont worry about getting your hair done I took a picture in and she made it look just like the picture.  But be ready for all the hair spray!!!  I am not a fix you hair kind of girl so that really took me by suprise but they have to do it because of the humdity.  I totally understand being nervous but those girls really enjoy doing their job and will take good care of you.  You will love the resort also everyone is so nice.  Sorry if I did not answer everything but if you have more questions just ask.

If you upgrade, you can upgrade to the full day package which is $1000.  This includes getting ready at the spa, plus the cocktail hour, and whole reception.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
