That's a good idea! ELF is just so cheap I'd be scared of it melting right off with the heat and stuff, but if you used it with no problems, that's probably what I'll do!  Did you use the actual Elf lashes or just the glue?

Hey Brandi,

I have the contact info and spreadsheet from AVI Solutions, the DJ company that replaced Doremixx if you want, i can forward to you? I totally get your frustration with Pilar. She is very hit and miss, though we had a lengthy phone conversation 2 wks ago and I feel much better about everything. Our problem is with our totally inept travel agent, who complicates every detail and confuses things, Pilar actually asked me if we could eliminate including my agent in the planning of the actual wedding bc of how effed up everything is getting!

My stupid ipad installed the bdw app and its all messed up on the web now so my display doesn't look normal- when is your wedding date?

Xo

Kristen

Could you send me the contact info and spreadsheet for avi solutions? I'll PM you with my email address.

Thanks

Wow! thanks for this info!! I will def be checking out orientaltrading and avon books! I know that i want to do welcome bags but i have yet to have started any research... When did you start purchasing items? My big day isnt till next May.

I used the actual lashes too. They worked really well - and it was the first time I've ever worn fake lashes. We stuck them on first, then we put on the rest of my make up. Our last step was to curl & put mascara on them with my own lashes to "bind" them together. They really made a HUGE difference. They stayed in place right up until I forgot and rubbed my eye after the reception. Then one came loose, and I didn't have the glue on me to stick it back on. So I just pulled both of them off and proceeded to the bar for the after party! You can't beat the price of those things though.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
