Sorry the photographer was so awful, but I'm glad you had a backup plan.

Congratulations!!

hi Tlseege

can you tell me what you think the difference is between dean sanderson and gonzano nunez and their style of phtography? Again i do love both of their work but not sure which one to go with since im really not aware of different types of photpgraphy. thanks

The difference that I see is in the processing.  Dean has beautiful images, but some of his images on his website have slightly more of a vintage feel to them.  He embraces the "grain" in photos.

BUT, it depends.  If you look in his galleries, they seem to be crisp and clean edited photos.

Gonzalo's images are very bright and the color really pops.  Sometimes a little too enhanced, but mostly they are crisp clean images.

If Dean's current work (his blog is giving me an error) is all the crip and clean images with out the vintage look to them that I see on the splash page of his website, then I'd choose him.  But I just don't know that.

We arrived at the Now Jade yesterday and so far I have been impressed at the level of service from all the staff. We meet Pilar today to discuss the wedding and hopefully get some clarity on their policies of swapping out services for others. Will keep you posted! Chris
Good luck!!! & I cant wait to see your review!!!! CONGRATS AGAIN!!!

Does anyone know what they mean by "preparation of the bride's gown"? Will they steam out a wrinkled dress? My seamstress told me she could do it to get out the deep wrinkles, and then show me how to fold it for packing so it wouldn't get re-wrinkled. But if the hotel will do it, I won't have it done here first. My dress is a big poofy thing with a satin skirt that is bunched, so ironing is definitely out.

What are you doing for your recession and procession in terms of parents?  My fiance's mother wants him to walk her down the aisle, but now, I'm not really sure how to work this out.  How are you guys doing it?
My Fiancé is also walking his mother down the aisle. Here's how we are doing it. (We have a small wedding party, just 1 MOH and 2 Best Men): FI will walk his mother to her seat with his father following behind - Groom will stand at Pergola One BM will walk my mother to her seat - & take his place at Pergola One BM will walk MOH & they will take their place at Pergola Then me & my dad! Recession: FI parents together My Parents (or vice versa, I don't care either way which set of parents go first) MOH with a BM on each arm Then me & my Fiancé Easy peasy!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
