We have a similar timeline

Ceremony 4pm (the sun sets at 5:30!)

Cocktail Hour 5-7pm - I think offiically only for an hour, but then people can relax for a bit before dinner.

Dinner 7-10pm

Kristen,

Do you mean the sun sets at 7:30?

Our travel agent told us 5:30!

Oh geez, I just checked it online and it says around 7:30.  Good lord. Again with the misinformation, not that it matters, but just one more thing I have to double-check because our agent got it wrong.  Thanks Shannon!

I kept looking for you too!  My bridesmaid said she talked to you at the 'disco' and then someone mentioned you passed along best wishes at the reception.

Glad everything went well.  I did see your groomsman a few times and peaked at your reception (I think you were cutting the cake).  You looked beautiful!!!!!

I haven't really thought out the rehearsal dinner yet.  Does Pilar set up a rehearsal for the day before at a certain time?  Are any of you planning to have a family only rehearsal dinner and then meet for drinks with other guests at the resort?  Has anyone thought of doing a rehearsal dinner and/or drinks in town at Puerto Morelos at night?  Any recommendations on places?

Thanks so much!

P.S. to the new brides - Love your pics!  Thanks for sharing and Congratulations!

I asked Pilar a while ago if we could just have an area set up for our group in the buffet after our rehearsal and she said no problem, we have a time but I can't remember when it was! Haha!! I'm the worst! But anyway this will also be our welcome dinner, not excluding anyone since we will have 25 people appx.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
