Also, the reason we requested Doremix originally was since they seemed highly recommended. But I'm sure whom ever the resort goes with will be good.

What package do you have !? Is the DJ not included in your package ???

When I asked Pilar about vases for bridal and BM bouquets she said she could do it free of charge. Maybe just ask her during your meeting.

Thanks!

I can't answer your question, but I have one for you regarding the paper lanterns! How many and what sizes are you getting? Our reception is on the Carnival Terrace and I want to have paper lanterns in a few different sizes but I have no idea how big and how many.

Thanks!

re

This 4 hour deal sounds like a plan to me. I mean music is a big deal for me. Plus I was at first told the reception is only 3 hours. I would much rather do 4.
Unfortunately, the receptions are only 3 hours. It is $15 per person to extend it an hour.

Hey Lauren,

We're having our reception in the Bamboo Room and I was told about 20 in varying sizes- a past bride on here said she had 16, 18, and 20" lanterns.  I got 8 x 20", 8 x 16", and 8 x 18" in shades of white, light turquoise, and dark turquoise :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
