Hi all,

Does anyone know what the cost is for coloured linens? I really don't like white and would like to have bright tablecloths? I'm look at buying some online but don't want to spend the money if it's reasonable to get them at the resort.

Thanks, Trisha

Here's what I have from the wedding guide:

Linen (per table)1 $18 to $25 Overlay (per table)1 $18 to $25 Special colored napkins (per person) $4 Bows for chairs (different colors) (per chair) $5   Online will be much cheaper. I've found chair sashes starting at just .60 cents. And table runners for under $2.

I am having the same problem.... Deisy asked for my phone number and told me she was gonna call me yesterday afternoon. I waited ALL day for that phone call and never heard from her. It's extremely frustrating. I'm just trying to set a date and give my deposit.... I am almost wishing I had a wedding planner here to take care of all this for me ! LOL

That being said I know there are friends of ours thinking about booking last minute.. (which I am not too happy about) only because I would like to have a better oversight of who is coming and who is having what for dinner so I can arrange a seating chart and hammer out the details when the time commes. I don't want to leave everything until last minute because people are trying to get a deal... Anyone else feeling like this right now? I know that the dinner choices need to be in 45 days prior to departure and I am going to try and politely let those that are planning on booking last minute know..

Wow! I am amazed that you have 40 people booked and your so far out! We didn't have our first guest booked until January which was 6 months out from our wedding! You've got some committed guest coming with you! ;-)

You have to RSVP for a normal wedding up here and it's harder down there so I don't think that's out of line. Just give your last minuters a deadline to tell you if they will be attending or not.

We are getting married on the 16th of January departing on the 12th.. So I was thinking around mid November to RSVP.. It would be 2 months prior to departure but it would also allow me to get everyone's dinner choices before I have to send off the final paperwork which is due 45 days prior to the wedding that Pilar expects.. It that too soon? I just don't want to leave it too close because I want to get my paper work to Pilar and make my wedding programs and name cards, seating chart..

Hi Trisha.

http://www.tableclothsfactory.com/tablecloths-Table-Linens-Chair-Covers-Sashes-s/4.htm this site is great! Eventhough I said I wasn't going to I changed my mind once I came across this sites prices! I got chair sashes and table runners from them and it will be much cheaper then renting at the resort. I am not sure if the resort does have coloured tablecloths come to think of it.. Hope this site helps cheesy.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
