Thanks! :)

I think it would be fine, I will have one table of 6. From pictures it looks like people have anywhere from 6-10 people.

Just an addition here- for CANADIANS, I just checked this: http://embamex.sre.gob.mx/canada_eng/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1241%

Canadian nationals must present a valid passport to prove their nationality. Mexican authorities do not require a minimum period of validity of passports; nevertheless, this document must be valid at the time of entry and during the period you wish to be in Mexico.

Thank you for this! I feel much better. I am going to contact them but I don't forsee having any issues entering. I have a Canadian Permanent Residency which is also mentioned on the website.

Hi Linday, I did send an email to my travel agent and explained my concerns and she told me to contact the Mexican Embassy.

After reading the link that Khunt provided I feel that it shouldn't be an issue.. I just can't see them turning people away for a wedding.. As long as you have a valid passport, permanent residency card and no criminal charges..

Has anyone had their make up and hair done by the resort people at Now Jade or know of someone who has and what was the review? I am having mine done as a part of the Divine package and am a little worried. Just because when I have had someone else do my make up or my hair it usually des not turn out too great. Well, mostly it's the make up I am worried about. I only had two bad hair experiences!

Based of past reviews, it has been suggested that we bring detailed pictures because it's very easy for things to get lost in translation. Apparently they are good at what they do, it's just the language barrier that causes misunderstandings. Hope that helps!

For past Brides (or anyone who knows the answer)... During a symbolic ceremony, do you sign a fake marriage cert during the ceremony? If so, is this something that was provided by the resort/officient or did you bring one with you?

We have asked for a mock certificate for us to sign during the symbolic ceremony which they said wouldn't be a problem

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
