OFFICIAL NOW Jade Wedding Thread

Recommended Posts

I have a bridesmaid outfit question that I am looking for opinions on!  My bridesmaids are wearing all different colors (Champagne, light blue, cornflower, royal blue and navy blue).  I am trying to figure out shoes and am having a hard time picking out the color shoes.  I could do a champagne color shoe which will match all dresses (I hope), or do I have them dyed to match their individual dresses?  They are short, satin dresses from Davids Bridal, simple but dressy.  Normally, I would pick silver, but I can't have silver with the champagne color.  Any ideas???

Question for all the Now Jade brides out there - does anyone have a recommendations for the best method of payment when it comes to the wedding bill? I understand we need to pay once we sit down with pilar and Deisy before the big day. I'm guessing credit card is the best option but most cards have a limit so I'm not sure how that works. We have a large group of 123 guests so the bill will most likely be a little more than the average wedding. Thank you in advance!!! Can't believe we're around 50 days away!!!!!! :)

I talked to my bank about it and they said using credit is basically the same as cash. I know pilar will accept either, and also put on multiple cards if needed. We are flying in on the 22 - so just under 8 weeks. When does your group get in?

Brandi I think that champagne shoes would look beautiful.  That's a nice tone with any color blue.  And I'd say they don't have to be the same shoe.  That would allow each girl to show their individuality.

And I really like how you have an ombre look going for your bridesmaid dresses!  That'll be beautiful!

Champagne would go well with all colors. Where are you buying them? I need ideas for my seafoam color scheme!

What do you all think, anyone have their wedding already with this amount of people? My fiancé thinks it is pointless, but I really like the idea of someone running the show, not just an ipod playing in the background...

We had 15 with us and had a DJ...I was worried it would be weird but it wasn't at all. I think it would have been boring without one.

I would go with a nude shoe.. That is what I am doing for my girls. It will look good with any of the dresses and they can wear them again.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
