That's a good deal. By transfers do you mean transportation from the airport to the resort?

A lot of my guests are thinking that it's too early for deposits but I really want to secure the rooms. It makes me feel better to know that other brides were that early too. I just don't want to wait too long and risk the rooms being fully booked.

We had the divine package and the flower medallions were free, and the ceremony table just had one of the centerpieces from the reception so that wasn't additional cost either.

I remember someone mentioned Flores Riviera Mayan before and I could only find 2 reviews about them. Their flowers look beautiful and reasonably priced. Anyone else find better florists?

I contacted a few external vendors and decided to go with Marvin.   I sent them a picture of what I had in mind and they each quoted me their prices. Since they were higher than I anticipated, they worked with me to adjust the types of flowers (using less expensive ones) to help meet my budget.  Marvin was the most competitive as far as pricing and I just fell in love with the centerpiece that he arranged for my wedding.   Great customer service! Feel free to contact any of them.

Its through the airline (Air Transat) but my TA said it will likely be Nolitours (which is a subsidiary of Air Transat). We didn't book it - our TA took care of everything in our package price.  Sorry that probably isn't very helpful :)

Thank you, I got a few quotes from Alina & Vanessa already. I will try Marvin and see what he quotes me. Have a lot of past brides used him? There aren't a lot of reviews in the vendor reviews sextion for flowers.

That's good news! I had no idea that the medallions were included in the divine package. That saves me a ton. Thanks for the FYI!

I am pretty sure that is the case. My Travel Agent who has a long standing relationship with Pilar and NOW jade told me that it is 3 days for symbolic and 4 days otherwise. However, if you have everything covered with Pilar, then I'm sure she would tell you if there was an issue.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
