Does anyone have a price list? I put a deposit down on the Divine package- getting married October 2013. I'm trying to figure out somewhat of a budget and am getting confused regarding what is included in the package and what is not and how much the additional items would be. I'm interested in knowing what additional  bridesmaids bouquets cost ( I think there is 1 included in the package, but I would need 4 more), boutonnieres (4), a Mariachi band for an hour, DJ for 4 hours, and cake for approx 50 people. I saw some cool centerpieces for the Divine package, but didn't see any prices to go with them. Any info would help, thanks!

Hi there!  Do you by any chance have pictures of your fireworks as yet?  I did contact Maritza (thank you for the referral) and am really close to adding them in, but would love to see how they looked on your special day!

Excited!

I haven't gotten my pics back from Delsol yet..should be a couple more weeks before I get it. They should have awesome pics of the fireworks:)

From what the price list says it can get quite expensive for flowers and table centrepieces. Do any of you know if the resort provides minimal decor...like candles? Do they use linen napkins? And how much the laterns cost that hang from the ceiling? I'm so excited and nervous!! I want everything to look good! Thanks for your advice:)

I brought my own tea lights and holders and I left everything there..:) I think alot of brides don't wanna lug all the decor back home after the wedding..you should just ask them about the glass holders so you dont have to bring them and just bring a bag of tea lights.

Hey all - So I'm in the process of trying to secure flights for Now Jade.  Most of our guests are flying down from NY to Cancun and I've been estimated $485 RT (non-stop) for 4/23 - 4/28 and 4/24 - 4/28.  For brides that have people flying out from the east coast, does this seem to be a reasonable price to CAN?  Has anyone received any similair quotes? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, ladies!

Hello!!

I am getting married November 28th at 3:30pm. I am just trying to figure out what time I should get my hair and make-up done. Any suggestions? Also, do you know how many people the salon will accommodate for hair? It will be myself, 4 bridesmaids, mother of the bride, mother of the groom and our MC all want to get their hair done (total of 8 people). Also, what is your experience with the salon? My cousin will be doing our makeup, so we can get that done while we are getting our hair done if they allow it.

Thanks for your help!!

Hey Nicole - I've been to the salon and if I recall correctly, they have around 3 chairs on one side of the room.  The space is large, so I think they could certainly accomodate your bridal party, but they will have to rotate them through the chairs.  Alternatively, you can get ready in your rooms, but I think the salon is nicer because its spacious for hair and would look nicer for pics.

Thank again!

Hey Nicole -

I don't since my wedding is not until April 2013, but I would definietly be interested in hearing past Now Jade Brides feedback because I will likely be using an outside vendor too for some arrangements.  What's the best way to find external florist vendors? Did you ask Pilar or any of the wedding coordinators?

Great pic, Cheerios.  Was this the wedding cocktail hour or welcome party?

This was at the cocktail hour. We wanted to have the welcome dinner at the buffet, but it was Mexican theme night that night and was great because we had the buffet, and there was a show and there was a 12 man mariachi band..:)

I liked the orange lounge better because it was just one open space( better for mingling)..and the blue bar is bigger but you'll have your guests all scattered around the bar..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
