The xcaret park (which is about 30 min from Now Jade) is a great place.  They offer the dolphin swimming, and it is an amazing place for a day trip.  Check out their website xcaret.com for information.

Hey Lindsay :) Thank you so much for that information. Very much appreciated. My husband to be has always wanted to swim with dolphins so I would love to organise something for him :)

Have you been there yourself?

Hola Susannah,

I think the nearest spot is Xcaret. You normally need to book in advance with Delphinusand they pick you up and drop you off at your hotel.

Ask about their couples program!!

Best wishes.

Thank you so much Matt for the information. It looks amazing! I'll check it out :))

Much appreciated!!

I know this wasn't directed at me, but I have been to Xcaret and loved it. Xel-Ha is also another great place to go and also offers swim with the dolphines through the Delphinus (the company that Matt mentioned).  They both great venues in their own way.

Maybe for your rehearsal night since you could have a smaller crowd?  Just a thought??

Great Idea! I never even thought of this! Thanks so much

What is the big difference between the two? Is one place better suited for different groups of people? (i.e. children vs adults, adults vs  older adults, etc)

Hi I have the price list.  The wedding coordinator, Pilar, sent it to me about a week ago.  If you can't open it let me know and I can send it to you direct.

I am also trying to look into this. I think it would be great to get everyone together for a catamaran trip. I've done this is Cuba and it was gorgeous. Any vendors are greatly appreciated!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
