Hi Everyone,

 

May I ask who you are using for a travel agent?  I inquired here and the host put me in touch with vacations4less, who gave a good package.  But, since my wedding will be really large for a destination (about 100), I wanted to be able to secure a great discount, free rooms, free shuttle service, etc.  Can anyone recommend any agents?

I would check out Wright Travel agency. They are very knowledgeable and can include airport transfers as well. I am using TA Wendy from Wright Travel, she's been super nice. I unfortunately haven't had anyone book yet so I haven't had to bother her too much but she's been super helpful so far!

Hi Jackie,

 

I am using Teresa with vacations4less and signed my contract wtih her back in February of 2012. I think she's fantastic and I have no regrest with my decision to use her.   Also, I still have the best rates since signing my contract in February

 

Since you have already chosen Now Jade, keep in mind that no matter who you choose as a TA there will be limitations to the number of free rooms you will recieve as set by AM reosrts (I assume you'er referring to the book 5 get the 6 free).  From my previous conversations with Teresa, if a lower rate is published at any point I can have my group rate adjusted and if there is a promo of some sort of another website, more than likely she can price match.  With that said it would be your responisibliyt to periodically check and make the request. 

 

My best adivice is just to ask any and every question that comes to mind.  Teresa is a great resource and I have honestly ome to trust her.

I used Wendy from Wright Travel and she was so nice and super easy to work with. I didn't have that many guests so I can't say for sure what she can get you for 100 guests but I would contact her.

Thanks Tova!  It means a lot since we are all on the hunt for great deals.  Teresa was very responsive and laid everything out.  She was the only one I have contacted so I wasn't sure if I was missing out by not speaking to other agents to make sure I wasn't missing out on some great deals or lower room rates since I have such a large group coming down.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
