2013 Paradisus Palma Real

Recommended Posts

I wasn't such a fan of their decor so I am having flowers. I've always wanted pink peonies so I'm having those imported. Spending way too much on flowers but it's something that's important to me. If you're looking for ideas, the resort uses a decor company called carribean celebrations. The website is: http://www.weddingsandeventsinpuntacana.com/ This is the vendor you will work with once you get closer to the wedding date on any flowers, lighting, chairs, linens, etc

Hello Ladies!!!

Congratulations to everyone!!!!

I just joined the blog I have to say it's been very helpful to read all the posts.

I'm getting married on Nov 2012 in PPR. I have some questions in regards to the rates for my guests. They seem to be a little higher than the actual rates posted in PPR website..

How were the rates for your guests?? Have you signed a group contract??

Also, how soon did you send the wedding invitations to all of your guests??

I hope to hear from you soon.

Hello MDube

Congrats for your recent wedding!!
Would you mind sharing the rates for your wedding guests?

How many stayed in the hotel??

I'm a bit concerned bc the rates they gave me seem to be  higher than the actual rates posted in their website.

What's the discount??

Hope to hear from you very soon...

Hey Pierivik

Congrats on your upcoming wedding!! I am getting married there next April so I was thinking about sending out invitations maybe at the 5 to 6 month mark to make sure everyone remembers to put in their deposits? I did sign a room contract. For the deluxe rooms, the rate was 180 per person per night. Does that sound right? Let me know!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
