2013 Paradisus Palma Real

Recommended Posts

Thanks so m

We are doing bags and having them at the check in desk at Palma Real (for an additional fee) but we also have guests staying at the reserve so anyone staying at the reserve will get their bag when we see them! Or if we have time, we will take the golf cart over and hand deliver them :) I got a great price on really cute bags from The Wedding Chicks Shop... much cheaper than buying them on Etsy! We got wedding welcome tags with itineraries on the back for $1 each from Etsy (Jones Street Press) and they turned out perfect! 400 We got little things to put inside nothing major except my fiancé wanted to do t-shirts inside them. Can't wait to see how the t-shirts turn out!
Thanks so much for sharing your welcome bag and itinerary idea! Love it. I am going to check it out as well. Suzanne

Morning brides! So I made a pretty cool discovery on magnetstreet.com, I am not sure if you can do this on other sites but I used them because I love their starfish template since it is a part of my theme =). Basically, you can personalize any of their designs to whatever fonts and colors you want and once you are done you can view your proof, save it to your computer as a jpg file and print it yourself!! I just made our menus and thank you cards, I will be making our programs next! I even added our logo to the thank you tag using photoshop.

Thank you! I am not a DYI'er so I was very excited hehe.  Yes, we are doing buffet and we chose #2. Since we chose the aqua package we had the possibility of doing a plated dinner but I really did not like their options and it just looked like very little food to me.

Hey just fyi to everyone who want to do a rehearsal dinner but do not want to pay extra. You can reserve up to 20 people at 4 restaurants- bana, mole, market grill  or vento. Thats what we are planning on doing for just the bridal party and then will have the rest of our guests met us for drinks after. I am only 2.5 weeks away!!!

Yep- thats the plan although I thought it was just Bana. Thats good to know- thanks for the info. Market grill has that nice outside area but the food isn't as formal. Bana looks fun because of the Tepanyaki tables. I am planning just to have the bridal party and immediate fam (moms and "dads") but I thought if we were clever and booked bana and had our guests book their own tables as well- we would all be in the same place and then meet in the lobby bar for drinks after.

2.5 weeks- you must be a.) super duper excited b.) a little crazy tying up loose ends c.) super duper excited! I

I can't wait for your review and pics.

Thanks so much for the info... I made my list and I'm at 28 ppl (3 are kids) you think they'll let me slide?!? I doubt it.. They're so pick about everything and every little thing includes an additional charge :-( What are you ladies doing for cocktail hour entertainment? My planner suggested the Dominican trio but I really don't want to spend anymore money... I'm iffy about not having any music whatsoever.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
