Hi!

I just got married at Paradisus Palma Real one month ago. Can give you the COMPLETE low down. Ask specific questions. I had 95 guests at my wedding and can share with you all about the property, staff, catering, music, booking rooms, etc.

HI!

I just had my wedding at PR one month ago. I did the Tailor Made and can tell you all the ins/outs of dealing with the resort/staff. Let me know if you have any questions. I will say that my wedding was exquisite but keep in mind I arrived 5 days early and was kicking azz with the wedding staff up until the day of. Keep in mind the staff is trained to give you a package- which they do not know how to embellish or deviate from- you need to come with SPECIFIC needs and directives with firm timelines. Also, I had a fantastic photographer Katya Nova and used Arrecife as a videographer. Arrecife was ok. Happy to give reviews on the rooms, staff, food, event designers, music, etc.

Finalized my wedding extras and menus today. I have a jampacked lead up to our wedding. We just had our civil ceremony/ engagement shoot on Wednesday. Photos wont be reasy for two more weeks- but im replacing my avatar with the cell pics we took. I cant show anyone else because we agreed to keep it under wraps. This weekend is my schools prom which I coordinate and host, next weekend is my bridal shower, the following weekend in my bachelorette, and two days after I return from my bachelorette we leave for DR followed by an AHR two weeks later. Somewhere in between there I have to squeeze in two more dress fittings and work lol. My head is spinning. It's comforting to hear all the positive experiences being had by the brides in this forum. Thanks everyone for your help and support. Good luck to the upcoming brides! That's you Rotha!!!!

We are flying buisness class as well for that reason! Lol plus I used miles.... We must be on the same schedule! We had our civil legal ceremony today! And I have been finalizing our extras as well:) your pic is beautiful... We were so informal, I just wore a floral maxi dress... But the ceremony itself surprised us both! It was really beautiful..... Hope the next few weeks go smooth for u! That definitely is a lot on your plate....Before u know it you will be on a plane and in the moment.

Hi ladies- So I was transferred to my on-site wedding coordinator last week but it has not been what I expected. I was first put in contact with Massiel with seems to be the supervisor and she informed me that my planner would be Yesica (haven't heard anyone mention her)... But then when I get emails it comes from Maria. Also, they've been EXTREMELY delayed in getting back with responses. Everyone's positive expericences have me a little at ease but it's still very frustrating. Ps... We leave in 8 days and I've officially started to obsess about the weather... Of course I want great weather for the wedding but I also want great weather so that my guests can really enjoy themselves :-) Thanks for letting me vent ;-) Darlene

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
