2013 Paradisus Palma Real

Recommended Posts

hello everyone!!

I set my wedding date for august 16, 2013 (this summer!) and I picked the tailor made package thinking the more you spend on your package, the more you get. After asking my wedding planner Jessica numerous times as to what was included in my package (decor) she kept emailing me the same package details that were on the website!!  I hope someone can help me on here and maybe get a better understanding as to whats included in my package..

Thank you!!

Hi ladies

This is a question about your bridal party...I am in the NYC area. My fiancee wants to wear a beige suit for the wedding and we will be investing into a nice suit for him since we can wear it again. Does anyone know where I can rent nice beige suits for the bridal party, we both want them to be nice and we obviously cant ask the guys to buy themselves suits. I also figured that some of the guys would have beige suits but then the colors may be off and I dont think that would work well. I would appreciate any suggestions or recommendations on what you ladies have done with your bridal parties. Thank you!

Hi ladies,

I am not sure if anyone cleared this issue up or not but does anyone know if the outside vendor fee still has to be paid if the photographer stays as a guest at the resort (I pay for his room that night) or can it be bypassed?

Thanks!!

Hey there

I actually just picked out my guys outfits yesterday at men warehouse. We got calvin kelin khaki linen vests and pants. We got an amazing deal- half off! They are going to be wearing white dress with the sleeves rolled up and navy vineyard vines ties!

On another note, i am not sure if it was addressed before but what are people doing for the rehearsal dinner??

this is what the Bianca from the romance team sent me...

Correct – the outside vendor fee is $1000.00+tax plus day passes for each crew member coming onto the property.
Either that or 3 nights reservation at the hotel for the photographer…

Hello Ladies,

I hope you are all doing well. I am having major stress at this time. While finishing grad school, working full time, finishing up a part time internship and having family members who are not doing well health wise. I was told by a family member that maybe i should cancel my wedding and have something small in NY.

I have been waiting for this moment my whole life and it seems like (i am getting the impression that) people are just not happy for me... or have other priorities which is understandable. For example, i sent out my "will you be my bridesmaids?" cards to all of my bridesmaids (8) and i only got a call from 2 of them. It seems like the rest dont really care or maybe i am just reading into things.

I have always been someone who accomodates people. UGH now i dont even think we will be able to even afford an at home reception. I am just really upset. I notice that i cry everyday.

Sorry ladies. I find that this forum is a place to vent and get support from other brides going to the same or similar situaiton.

Its hard being a bride!!! Good luck ladies.

Woops... I forgot to ask my questions...

Any way,

Does anyone know how much it is to rent the bridal suite?  I want to be able to rent the suite for me and the gals. If not i will stay with my parents or sister...not sure yet!!!

Does anyone know if travel agents charge extra or above the rate PPR gave us...

Thanks ladies

Hi there, I am sorry to hear about your situation. You only get married once, it's YOUR wedding, do what makes YOU happy.

The bridal suite costs $300 for the time it takes to complete the services you are getting. I heard it is rather small and might not be worth it. I am guessing my suite will be bigger since I am staying at the swim up suite and hopefully get an upgrade. Not sure if that's how you would want to spend your money. I would rather spend it on the actual wedding.

I am using the travel agents from this site, they don't charge extra and were able to get better rates than those offered anywhere online.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
