Hello!  I am planning on getting married at the Jesus Meastro Parish and then the reception will be held at the Jellyfish in Feb 2014.  I am trying to put everything together and was wondering if you knew how far the parish was from the resort you are staying at?

Thanks and Congrats!

Depends which resort you are referring to. I am getting married at the Jesus Maestro Parish and my resort is the Paradisus Palma Real. I am told it is a 10 minute drive.

My fiance and I just got engaged in September at Cabanas Tulun which was amazing. We wanted to have our wedding there, but financially it is a bit too expensive. We also stayed at Excellence in Playa Mujeres after we stayed at Cabanas Tulum which was also wonderful.

We are planning to get married in November of 2013 and we are deciding on getting married at The Excellence Cancun. We were debating on having at Dreams or the excellence. Dreams was going to allow us to bring our doggie, (to be the ring barer, which is my dream to have him in the wedding, he is a small dog) But they will only allow our dog to stay 2 days, which is not realistic being most people are staying a minimum of 3 days.

So, I am opened minded to not being able to have our dog come down for the wedding which is fine. So now we are definitly thinking about having it at Excellence Cancun.

If anyone has any suggestions or advice we would love to hear anything that will help us plan or make a decision.

Good Luck to all the brides that are going to get married soon! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
