Hi all-

I am attempting to get married at Dreams Tulum June 2013; however, I am having great difficulty in the resort allowing my guests to reserve their own rooms and still get the promotional rate.  The resort is requesting that all reservations/money channel through me instead of allowing each person to call with their own financial information.

Anyone else having this difficulty?

many brides avoid that problem by using a Travel Agent to handle their group booking.  Then your guests can contact us to ask questions, make their reservations, make their payments, deal with any changes, etc.

We work really closely with Dreams Tulum (and I am a past Dreams Cabo bride ;)

Hey ladies!

I look forward to hearing how your weddings went at Dreams Tulum..  I am getting married there in January.  Any hints and tips that you found would be most appreciated.  I plan to get married on the beach and bring most all of my own decor and fabric.  Are you getting a DJ?

Thanks!!! :)

Hi Vanessa

I'll be getting married at the Dreams Tulum next week!  I booked an external DJ. His name is DJ Bijan from Mayanvibes.  So far, all the communication with him has been great. Let me know if you need any more info.

Hello Ladies!

I'm getting married in Tulum on 11.11.14 and would love ANY advice or tips! The only time they had left available for our ceremony is 2p. This means the ceremony will be done at 2.30ish, then cocktail hour doesn't start until 5p! Have any of you got married at this 2p time? What did you do to fill the time before cocktail hour?

Also any suggestions on where to have the reception (indoors or outdoors) would be appreciated as well.

Thank you!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
