1st Wedding Dream (nightmare)

Lol dreams are funny. I've only had one wedding nightmare so far, and like so many others it was dress related!! I dreamt that it was the day of the wedding and I still hadn't purchased my dress... but that's ok, because I had one on hold at the mall. When I got there it was like neon blue (not pretty tropical blue!) and it was like 4 sizes too small. If anything, I learned not to buy my dress same day! I think I had that dream a few days after I went shopping with my mom for a dress!!

Good lord, I had another dream last night. I dreamt that it was the morning of the wedding & my hair/makeup people decided to change the plan & wanted to start on me at like 10am (instead of 2pm)...so my MOH & mom decide that I have to put my dress on BEFORE the hair & makeup (wrong!). I complied. So there I am at 10 am, seven hours before our ceremony, wearing my dress. My makeup went super fast and looked good; but my hair was rediculous. It looked like I had just gotten out of bed & they just clipped a flower above my ear. Then I had to sit around & wait for the wedding. My dress got all stretched out & started falling off of me!! And nobody would bring me a glass of champagne!

You know Stephanie, I had some REALLY crazy ones early on - like 7 & 8 months prior, and then it stopped. I just recently started up again.

  • 4 months later...

I had my first wedding nightmare last night. I dreamt that I was meeting with Jennifer Hatton (the cake diva) and we were going over colors for the cake. Then I realized I never sent out the invitations and the wedding was only a couple days away. So I had to cancel everything. It was awful.

But I'm pretty sure it's normal to have these types of dreams. I'm so worried I'm going to forget something for this wedding. I'm sure these dreams are going to keep on coming for the next 8 months. Lovely.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
