Dreams Palm Beach 2013 Brides

Recommended Posts

Hi all! I just got married march 9th at dreams palm beach and it was amazing!!! My ceremony was at the garden gazebo and reception by the pool ( best location, too windy on the beach) I did the cheapest package and added my own touches on it worked out best for me! I brought my own chair sashes that were purple and that added a color pop I also got the tropical flower centerpeices that were georgeous and I used dj mania (he is awesome!!) and Michael wieler from caribean emotions and he did a beyond amazing job you must must get him! If you have any questions feel free to contact me. I loved this resort my guests had a blast and I highly recommend thus place!!!! ;)

Has anyone planned a meet-and-greet dinner at the resort? We have 30 guests and I'm not sure we'll be able to go to an a-la-carte with that many.
I was wondering this too, we have around 50guests and I would love to plan a little welcome dinner. But not sure how to proceed with this. Any tips or if you have done this please point me in the right direction. Thanks

Carolash- our wedding is in 6 weeks and we have all the same locations and vendors as you! I'm so glad to hear they were all great!! Did you have DJ Mannia announce you and the bridal party before the reception? I am debating since the cocktail hour is right before not sure if it would be weird. Thanks! :)

Hey girls, I am having a DPB wedding in December 2013! I have already booked our room and deposit for the ultimate wedding package. The only issue I have is their standard decor is all white. I need a pop of color may need to add some color bows to chairs and table lays. They won't substitute anything in the package. For example I do not need the extra corsages or boutineers I wanted to swap that for some wedding petals down the aisle and a flower girl crown. I just need to settle on the location I want to have. I was thinking gazebo for ceremony at 5:30pm and beach for reception. Anyone have any other suggestions? I am only having about 20 people (if that). Johanna has been in constant communication with me so I am thrilled :-) cannot wait!!

That's nice. :) Hopefully will have a gorgeous day! The big day is getting closer and closer.. :) Are you having trouble getting answers from the wedding planner? I asked if they're was anything I had to decide in advance and she said that she had sent me a list.. Which I never received.... It's been 2-3 weeks and she hasn't answered yet..

HI Carolash! Congratulations on your wedding.

I was wondering if you could help me with questions about the lighting at the pool area is this supplied? Or do you have any recommendations to go with?

As well the DJ and photographer that you used were these the hotels recommended suppliers, or was this something you hired seperately?

Thanks and would love to see some photos of the set up if you have them at the pool area.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
