Hi there! I'm new and just got engaged. My fiance and I live in upstate NY and had already had a 2 week FL vacation planned. Since we don't want (and really can't afford) a wedding, we decided to tie the knot in FL. The first week of our vacation we will be at a resort in Orlando (my wonderful parents gave us a week at their timeshare) and then we're off to Tampa where we'll set sail on a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise.

Oh, did I mention that this is happening in the middle of April, just 2 months away?!?!

So, I'm trying to figure out how to make this happen. We will have a couple friends with us and would love to get married on the beach. No reception makes it easy, but not being from Tampa, I'm nervous about finding an officiant when I can't meet with them in person.

    Anyone have advice?

Congrats and welcome!  Is our resort on the beach?  If so, I wuold talk directly to them.  Actually, I would start with them either way, they might be able to point you in the right direction to find someone to help you pull it together.
