Post Wedding Sale from Canada

Recommended Posts

I got married in Oct. 2011 in Punta Cana. My apologies for not coming back with reviews, pics, etc. but after spending hours upon hours on here before the wedding, (where I picked up some fantastic ideas), it was almost like burnout. So, I'm slowly getting organized and will provide an in depth review of anything soon. In the meantime, I'm finally clearing out the extras. I am located in Calgary, AB but will ship anywhere. As I will need to pack up items and take them to the post office to quote shipping rates, I would ask that you only ask me to do that if you are serious. I am an older bride who really looked forward to spending time with the 24 folks who joined us rather than fussing too much on "stuff', which by the way---becomes exactly that when you're in paradise! Please check out my pics to get a better idea of items as my descriptions may not cut it! Here we go:

glitz.jpgFound some more items I had forgotten. They include:

  • Hair bling, includes 2 bling backcombs, 2 packs of bling bobby pins ($12 per pack) (a few missing from one pack and a hair flower. Flower is white with backcomb feather and bling. Total value approx $60; asking $15 takes all.
  • Bling stones and glue --2 turquoise and 2 white packages of stones...fabulous items. Purchased at Micheals for between $6 and $14 each! I bought these to do "something" on the sole of my shoes but ran out of time: asking $25 for allhair.jpg

Hey, I just noticed you are in Calgary also! Totally interested in the chair sashes, turquoise ribbon, a bag or two of seashells and the Bath and Body works air fresheners. Can you PM me where in Calgary you are located, maybe I can meet you locally to check this stuff out and save some shipping costs!

Thanks!

~Maja

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
