Flip Flops for Reception

We bought for the girls only.. a few different colors and random sizes.. 6-10. We're going to put stickers on them to show the sizes and tie them together with ribbons..

 

girls are the ones kicking off their shoes at the end of the night.. guys could always go barefoot if they want.

I also got mine at Old Navy. I asked everyone what shoe size they are so I had the exact ones. Believe it or not I found out the most popular size was a 9 then an 8, I totally would have thought 7 or 8. We also have one girl who is an 11, so I am very glad I asked everyone first.

I bought 50 pairs for (what I hope will only be) 125 guests at a wholesale store NYC. I got them for $9 per dozen. Mine were green and pink, our wedding colors, and I bought them in random sizes (7-10 because I have a feeling only girls will be using them).

Are you guys planning to pack the flip flops down in your luggage? Between the OOT bag stuff, favors, decor, etc. I feel like I'm going to need three extra suitcases just for stuff like this!

When it gets a little closer to the date, I am going to get a quote from Fed Ex to ship all this stuff. If it is really high, I am going to have my family members (between FI and I we have recruited 12) either pack some stuff in their suitcases or just pay the money for an extra bag... did that make sense? I think so but I could be wrong

I am very lucky to have an airline with a large luggage allowance. We all get a carry on, my dress, purse, and 2 suitcases 21 kilo's each. Everyone told me they will only bring 1 suitcase, so I am using other peoples extra suit case. So we are bringing down like 6. lol
