    Welcome Kasey! Congrats on your engagement and your decision on going with Elegance. You won't regret it! I'm in love with this resort. There's a ton of helpful info on here as well as the Majestic Colonial Brides FB page. If you haven't already start thinking of who you'd like as a photographer and dj since these get completely booked months in advance. Happy Planning!

      I was thinking it would be nice to get together with other brides who are also there the same week to share the excitement. Kristen and I will be there that week too. Joint Bachelorette party anyone?

        Hi Newfie! My ceremony will be right the next day: Apr 26, 2013 - Beach @3 p.m!!!

        Kristen and I are there the same week getting married too. Want to get together, let me know. Bachelorette party? Lol

          I don't have my dress yet or anything else ordered. Starting to feel pressured for time. Hoping it will work out ok. Needs flower girl dresses, bridesmaid dresses, their gifts, etc. I think I have everything booked though. Lots left to do. What wedding songs are people using?

            My ceremony is at 3pm, dinner at sea and sea and reception at the wet bar.

            I am hoping to send my save the dates out in Novemeber, we are waiting for pricing to come out from Canada prior to send it out.

            I have confirmed with photophil and DJ mannia, however my hopes to have Pastor York have been crushed .

            Does nyone have someone they can recommend to perform our ceremony at the personal level that Pastor York does?

              $50??? As they gave me information recently, it's $70 per person for the private dinner! It's crazy(((

                Congrats to you as well! Great choices on your vendors. I wouldve loved to have photophil but he was out of my price range. I heard of only one other person besides Pastor York but can't remember his name at the moment.

                  Hi Christie, I am from Calgary as well :). We were also not ble to get Pastor York, but we are going with the pastor he works with who is covering for him while he is doing mission work. Pastor York assured me he has the same style/personality and all communication is through Pastor York. So fingers crossed this other pastor will be great. I can let you know how he is in less than 6 short months!

                    Hi we're getting married June 12th, 2013 at 7pm.  It was later than I wanted but this was the only time besides a morning ceremony so I booked it.  has anyone ever heard of having there reception catered with just hot and cold hors d'oeuvres instead of a dinner??? It was suggested to me and I thought a good idea since I don't want the party to get started too late??? Any suggestions or I'd love to hear if anyone has heard of anyone doing this and pulling it off....so confused and must make up my mind soon!!!

                      Hi Ladies!   I'm staying at Majestic Colonial and was wondering if any of you knew how much it was to drop OOT bags in the guest room and if there is a contact to arrange?  Appreciate the help!
