Our price is $1459 +tax out of Saskatoon/Edmonton.

We have decided to do the non private dinner at the beach restaurant. We have about 20 guests. I am looking for ideas for a reception. My guests are most likely not interested in the disco, so I dont really know what we can do?

You could go watch the evening show.  Or there is always live music at a few locations with bars near by!

Hello Ladies!!!!

I have just "tentatively" decided to have my... uhem "our" wedding at the Majestic Elegance after a disappointing turn of events with our original plans at Breezes, Curacao.  I called and sent two emails to ME on Friday trying to get information.  I got a reply on Monday and immediately responded with questions.  I then sent another email and called them to ask if I could secure a date and time, but they said it could only be handled through email.  It is now Wednesday and I still haven't heard anything.  I want to get married next May and want to get the spot reserved before there is no more availability.  Has anyone else had any trouble communicating with them?  Any suggestions?   I think I will relax once I have our date locked in but right now I'm on pins and needles waiting for replies!

OK, I'll take a deep breath now!  LOL!

I've decided on ME in May 2013 as well.  I have been in contact with the coordinator a few times to pick my wedding date.  They usually take anywhere from 1-3 days to respond ... this is what I found.

Definitely inquire about all of the dates and times they have available.  They have a certain number of spots open for both the symbolic and civil ceremonies.  May seems to be a popular month at this resort!

Good luck!  Let us know when you have some success in booking :)  I'm getting married on May 9th.

Thanks Chrystine! :o)

Ugh.. I understand your frustrarion.. ( I had the same issue when we were planning on going to Atlantis in the Bahamas.) My FI stayed on hold for an hour just for someone to pick up and hang up.. And they took forever to respond to my TA. Soooo glad we changed our destination.

The ME was rather quick with my confirmation. I hope they respond to you soon!!.. May seems to be a popular month for ME. Are you looking for a specific day in May?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
