I'm also learning so much from your planning. Thanks for sharing with us so much information. Do you happen to know if they're going to charge you a vendor fee for Floral Fantasies?

Supposably if Floral Fantasies just drops off the flowers there is no vendor fee.  We'll see if that happens!

US - SUBTOTAL   $1,045.00
SETUP/DELIVERY   $52.25
 16.5 % GCT TAX   $181.05
US - TOTAL   $1,278.30

Courtney, what is the vendor fee you will have to pay for Floral Fantasies? 100? And do they respond pretty quickly? I've heard lots of complaints with Tai Flora's slow responses.

I answered the vendor fee question in an earlier post. Floral Fantasies answered that same day. Tai Flora took a week+!

Hi Courtney.  Great thread!  Are you by chance getting any flowers for the arch/huppa?  I am getting married at the beach in April and also think I am going through Floral Fantasies.  They were cheaper from me as well and responded very quickly.  I spoke to the wedding coordinator and she tells me I will be charged a vendor fee for using them no matter if they are just dropping the flowers off or not.  For as low as they quoted, it's still worth it for me to go through them, I think.  I was wondering that...if I go through Floral Fantasies, will I still get the bout/cake flowers/registration table flowers that come included in the package.  It sounds like you are getting them.  I am just wondering if you asked the question or if you are assuming.  I couldn't get a clear answer from WC!

Thanks again for the thread!  You've got it wayyy more together than I do and I'm less than 3 months away!

Hi, Jaclyn

I am not getting flowers for the huppah.   I am still getting the included flowers from Tai Flora, but I am at the Suites, so I don't know what the Beach does.  It is in our wedding package so we will be getting them no matter if we order other flowers from Tai Flora or not.

Happy planning,

Courtney

Wedding photography includes:

*  Sandy May as photographer for 5 hours, overtime available @ $200 per hour

*  Personal website for on-line viewing, editing, and print ordering on Pictage.com

*  $100 US gift certificate toward prints ordered from Pictage.com

* High resolution disc of all usable photos, color corrected and exposure adjusted with the copyright turned over to you

* Iberostar day pass to be paid by client

Fee...............................................................$ 1,400.00 US

* Trash the dress option available:                             400.00 US

 pass paid by client

Travel expense of $125

I just emailed her today.  The pricing she gave you is excellent and also excellent for trash the dress.  I hope she can accommodate my wedding date :)

Hi!  She will probably be back in Minnesota in July since she lives there in the summer.   Let me know though what you find out!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
