Iberostar Rose Hall Suites Wedding in 2013

Recommended Posts

Hello Ladies! I am so excited that I have booked my wedding already for July 2013 at the Rose Hall Suites! I know i have plenty of time, but am a planner and like to give everyone plenty of time to prepare! For those of you who have already gone through the process, how long should before the actually wedding day do you recommend I start working with the wedding planners to prepare? Same with photographers etc? I have over a year so think right now is a bit far ahead, but don't want to leave it to late either.

Also I am trying to think of creative ideas to make this wedding special and stand out from all the rest I have been to! So are there pictures out there from your weddings I can use look at for inspiration?

Any help welcome! I am excited to start the planning!! :)

Hey Ladies, I just sent in my Wedding Agreement for February 24, 2013!!! And im going to try on dresses tomorrow.

I am a little confused about the planning, so we confirmed our date, when do you decide the cocktail hour, dinner, reception, flowers etc?

Also, i have never been to a destination wedding so this is all completely new to me, for cocktail hour and reception we have to pay for alcohol per hour for each guest even though they are all staying at the resort?

Whats a ballpark number you all expect to pay for the wedding, cocktail hour, recption, flower etc?

Hi Ladies I was married at the Riu in Ocho Rios in 2008. We plan on renewing our vows at Iberostar on July 26, 2013. I just sent the email requesting the date. As you can see I have come back to the resource that helped me plan my first wedding. I am super excited to start the planning process all over again. Instead of just being justthe planner I am also my own travel agent as well. I have learned so much from this experience that I have turned it into a passion of mine and started my own business. I'm pretty sure most of you ladies will do the same!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
