Hi All! I'm getting married on 11/10/13 at the Moon Palace and am getting super excited!! I have been booked since 3/29/13 with contract signed stating they would "block" off 30 rooms for my guests in the sunrise section. Well, today I get a call stating there is a big party coming in that weekend and they have to move me and my wedding party to the Grand section, since this "big party" will be taking over the sunrise section?! I am so upset over this, since we researched & read blog after blog and specifically choose this side to be at. I can't understand how they can bump us out? Any advice?

Thanks!

I used the hotels photographer (Ocean Studio) and I can not rave enough about how much I loved their work! I had read mixed reviews about them so I was nervous about picking them but I am SO glad I did!! I just got my wedding pictures in the mail yesterday and Ive only made it through one cd (there are 3 of them with over 4000 total pictures on them) but the cd Ive looked it is AMAZING. Here is my favorite picture so far...

They are so familiar with the resort and they knew the best spots to take pictures. You also meet with your rep a few days before your wedding and you can give her a list of pictures you would like taken. I also did video with them and I watched it last night and cried for about 20 minutes! They captured EVERY moment!!

Hi Ladies! Just 13 days until I fly to Moon Palace and I do not yet have a playlist, nor do I have a clue as to what kind of music will get people dancing and having a good time wacko.gif

Does anyone have a playlist for 3-4 hours of songs they used that worked the crowd pretty well at their wedding? My brother is a teenager so I had him putting some of the newer pop stuff on there but I really don't listen to much music myself so can use any suggestions. Thank you in advance!!!

Hi Ladies

I am probably going to be annoying over the next few days with last minute questions so please forgive me....

My sister-in-law made our guest lovely OOT bags. I am trying to figure out what might be fun to go into the OOT bags for kids. i don't want to put immodium or aspirin in theirs but don't want to just skip them either. Right now I have shutter shades, some candy, beach balls, and flashing rings... please let me know what you may have put into your bags for children or let me know if you have any suggestions! Thank you in advance!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
