I think the age is 18+ for Noir. They didn't check ID or anything, so you may be able to sneak them in? (unless the under 18's get different colored bracelets...I wasn't sure of this as we didn't any have children or teens with us)

Congratulations on your engagement! The Moon Palace is a great choice for wedding venue. Noir is 18+, there is also the Teens club that is a arcarde/chill out during the day, then turns into a Teens night club at night.

I stayed 6 nights so I had $300 towards the spa/salon and the hair and makeup cost $170.  Most of my guests stayed 4 nights and had $150 credit to the salon and just had to pay the difference.

So-turns out Im having 25-30 people come to the wedding. The wedding is on Friday, most people are coming Thursday until Sunday or Monday. Other than the ceremony, cocktail party and dinner/dancing....I was going to try to plan a golf outing and maybe a Cancun day. Is that enough? Do I need a welcome dinner/rehearsal? Or do I need activities daily. I  dont want to impose on their vacations or make them feel like they have to stick with us the entire weekend. But I dont want to have an incohesive weekend and have people feel ignored. Opinions?

We are also getting married on a Friday and a lot of our guests are doing 3-4 nights as well. We decided we didn't want people to feel like they HAVE to do a bunch of activities with us so the only thing we have planned is a rehearsal/welcome dinner the night before the wedding. (We just used the free dinner reservation that's included with the wedding package for this) Other than that people are free to do what they want! I have also sent out emails to my family & friends letting them know what they have for options in and around the resort as far as the spa, golfing, and excursions. I also supplied them with numbers they could call If they wanted to book things before we leave!

When we went for our wedding, we had given the guests an option of doing a group activity together. My wedding was on Friday with 30 guest as well and 20 of us decided to do the dolphin swim on the Saturday as it is on the resort and in the morning, so it left us with the rest of the day to do whatever we wanted.

I would suggest letting the guests decide what they want to do and go with the flow, so don't make a set schedule. It all works out in the end anyhow. Plus if most of you have smart phones, you can just msg eachother and coordinate times/places to meet. Most of our guests didn't want to follow a schedule, but at the end we all hung out and ate together for most of the trip.

Hi Ladies! Newly engaged and thinking about having my wedding at Moon Palace in May 2014! I haven't had the time to go back and read through this whole thread yet, but I will try to before I ask a bunch of questions that have already been answered. Does anyone have any advice or things I should know right off the bat from those who have already had their wedding or are deep into planning?
