Thanks for the info - I have guests that are 17 & 18. Can the 17 yr olds get into Noir Club? Sounds like you thought it was really good and that's all they keep talking about that they can't wait to go there.

We stayed at Nizuc, which turned out to be perfect for us.  We had 70 guests so it made it easy to all meet up and find each other.  It is a 5 min walk to Grand section and 10 to Sunrise.  It's a good combo of sunrise and grand.  There is a Rowdier crowd, lots of people and kids by Sunrise.  Grand is much calmer and had a 75m Lap pool if you're interested in that.  Nizuc is smaller than Sunrise and bigger than Grand. It was Easy to relax but also had a great swim up bar.  The rooms were also pretty nice at Nizuc- but think they are newer/modern in Grand.  We didn't see the inside of the rooms there.  So I guess it really depends on what you're looking for while you're there.   I really don't think you can go wrong with any section.  They are all so close either walking or using the free shuttle, so even if you're not staying in your fav section, it won't be hard to get to.

Got secretly married over the weekend!! We are doing a symbolic ceremony at Moon Palace so we picked this past weekend to get married because we had gorgeous weather here in New England! The countdown is ON- 29 days til we leave for Cancun and 32 days til we get married! (again! haha) woot.gif

Congrats on you recent wedding! Awesome review! That is good to know we can use resort credit for those services..How much of resort credit did you use for hair and makeup?

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
