Crash Dieting . . .

Recommended Posts

I didn't get up this morning to work out, I was so tired, so I will have to work out tonight when I get home.

I had a grilled chicken salad last night for dinner.

Today so far I've had a banana and a small atkins bar. I have a lean cuisine for lunch and a string cheese for an afternoon snack and I'll probably be having a grilled chicken salad for dinner again.

Great job Jill!!! Make sure you work out tonight.

I had a good day yesterday. Today so far I have had a boiled egg and 1 piece of whole wheat toast and I am not drinking a skim milk latte with a splenda and some cinnamon.

I brought a 300 cal frozen meal for lunch but forgot that I made plans to have lunch with a friend. So hopefully can find somewhere that as a good salad or something low cal for lunch. Not sure about dinner yet.

JILL!!!! Get your ass in front of your TV and do your workout!!!! NOW!!!! You have only 24 days to go (I think), if you don't workout now you will never lose weight for your wedding.

Was that too mean? I hope not. lol

So, I have been eating so well, aside from last weekend. And I weigh myself every Friday. I also went to bootcamp twice and it was HARD last night. I only lost 1 lb this week. I know I am happy that its something, but feel like it should be so much more than that. Only 5 more weigh in's till I leave, I better get at least 2 lbs next Friday. Although, this weekend is my step-dad's 50th birthday and my shower. Oops.

Jill, you know better. As appealing as the forum is, isn't looking and feeling great in your wedding gown better? I usually think of how excited I am and pump myself up... then force myself to work out. The hardest part is always the making time, forcing part. Once I'm working out, I'm good.

You're a good motivator. LOL

1lb is good! Hey it's something to celebrate. I take it you're drinking for the shower right? Well, YOU better be! LOL I know wine/liquor/beer/soda/pop isn't good for the diet sooo what I do is I order a vodka pressed with a dash of cranberry juice. It tastes AMAZING. PLus it rehydrates you too. Or you can do rum and diet coke. What do you like to drink Julie anyways? haha

I like all the girly slushy drinks that are really bad for me. I also love Malibu, so I do that with cranberry and/or diet coke. Maybe I will have Malibu with club soda and a splash of cranberry, that might be good.

Its not so much the drinking that I am worried about, its all the food. We are foodies, we love food in my family. So I know there will be lots of it. I am not going to say what I know will be there cause it will just make people hungry and give them cravings, but its going to be HARD. My sister already warned me about the food. lol

Well then treat yourself. i know what you mean about family loving food, mine is the same way. And it seems they always make the favorites. So enjoy yourself, perhaps eat before you get there then you wont be as hungry?

Good tip, I will totally eat before I go.

You know what I just thought about, I got my period this morning, so maybe I am bloated and retaining some water and I lost more than 1 lb. I am holding on to that hope. I guess I will know next Friday morning for sure. lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
