OK have you girls noticed how much sodium is in EVERYTHING?! Seriously isn't sodium bad and makes you retain water?
yes, sodium is bad. awhile ago I was using selfdietclub.com to log my food choices and if something wasn't in there list you entered all the nutrition information yourself. It made me realize how much sodium is in everything, especially canned soup!!! I was eating vegetable soup which you would think lo cal good for you right?? well if I ate the whole can, which is 2 servings, it was almost my whole days worth of sodium!!

make sure you keep drinking tons of water, I feel like I didn't drink as much as I should have today.

Yep. I was looking at our pre cooked mequite chicken breasts, thinking they wer ea healthy choice but they have 60% of your daily sodium intake. That is crazy. Then I started looking at everything. Salad dressing is another bad one. Ugh. I feel so frusterated.

Last night was J's bachelor party and I went to a friends going away. I ordered a $16 ceasar salad which was very small and a bowl of the soup of the day which was also small. I was soo hungry so I went for the bread. I feel so guilty. Stupid fancy restaurants.

You still did really really good. Seriously. You could have ordered pasta or something, which I would have done. So a little bread is totally fine.

Today is my shower and I am so afriad of what I am going to eat. lol I am sure I will have a bad post later on today.

at least you tried to be good! We went out to our favorite chinese food restaurant. We always get the same thing when we go, a pu pu platter for 2 with extra crab rangoons, beef lo mein, and two mai tai's each. Do you think we did any different last night?? Nope! I feel so guilty!

So I have to be really good today.

Have fun at your shower Julie!! You'll be fine! You'll be so busy talking to people and visiting and opening gifts you won't have time to eat bad!

Jill, I would have done the same thing. Especially since we rarely ever go out now due to saving money for the wedding. So, don't feel bad. I think we should have 1 day a week to eat a little bad and then get over it by being good the rest of the week. So, be good today.

I hope you are right and I am too busy to eat much. Also, I find I eat less when people are looking at me. lol I hope they are not looking too much, but I am sure they will be.

I do not have pics yet, but it was amazing. I am so happy. I did not even want one, I told them not to have one for me. But they decided I needed one anyway and I am so happy about it.

I actually did pretty well with my eating, Jill was right I was doing too much talking and moving around to eat much. I will not tell you what I did eat cause it will make you all drool, but it was a great time.

I will have pics soon. My friend took 2 rolls of film and has some digital ones. So, she will send them to me when she gets a chance and I will develop the film ones hopefully tonight.

You guys are doing so flippin good! Social eating situations always give me anxiety because I just know there is always that little angel or devil telling you what to eat from the buffet table! Sounds like everyone survived the last few events. I like the idea of eating before you go.....but then I'd probably just end up having two dinners...whoops!

Keep it up ladies....you are almost to your wedding dates!!! yay!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
