HI ladies,

 

I am new to the site and am getting married at the Melia Caribe Tropical June 16th 2012.

Garden Gazebo ceremony and Amphitheater reception.

 

Anyone else out there getting married this year there?  Would love to connect and compare notes as we move forward toward our big day!

Congrats Julie!!  Welcome!

 

I am getting married there in April.  We're having the ceremony at the Garden Gazebo and a reception at a restaurant.  Not sure which one yet.  I want to find out soon though.  My WC told as soon as she knows, she will let me know.

Yes, the photography provider for Melia is called "Arrecife Studio" (I think it means "reef" in spanish), they took pictures for my wedding 2 days ago, I can't wait to see my photos!

 

Lynn -my beloved one- and I will have a meeting this afternoon, at Arrecife's private showroom inside the resort. They said we can go with our closest ones, so our parents will be there with us. That's great because my parents are buying the pictures as a wedding gift.

 

I will publish some images as soon as I get them!

My fiance and I made a deposit with this outside photographer, Huellas del Caribe, and we have been dealing with Arnaud who is always quick to respond - we really loved their website and they have great reviews, but yes, there is a 1000 additional charge.  To help with this extra cost, this photographer is giving us extra hours of photography!

My fiance and I made a deposit with this outside photographer, Huellas del Caribe, and we have been dealing with Arnaud who is always quick to respond - we really loved their website and they have great reviews, but yes, there is a 1000 additional charge.  To help with this extra cost, this photographer is giving us extra hours of photography!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
