Horse for TTD

Recommended Posts

Hello ladies. This might be kind of a strange question, but I have seen many TTD sessions in Punta Cana where the bride and groom are riding or leading a horse. I would LOVE to have a horse for my TTD and I was wondering how you can arrange to have that? I know that there are arranged horseback riding excursions, but these photos make it appear that a single horse was rented?

I have been wondering the same thing!  I really want to do that.  I haven't researched it yet since I'm waiting to confirm other details and if budget allows then I will try to see if we can get a horse.

I'm curious to see if other brides have suggestions or information.

I would research local stables in the area.  Often they will rent you the horses during certain hours (in between scheduled rides).  The only problem is that some stables don't have the permits to ride horses on the beaches, so make sure you mention that you want the horses on the BEACH, not just that you want horses.

Not sure why I couldnt figure that one out myself. I belong to so many diffrent forums and all the abbreviations seems to run together. You would crack up if you heard the suggestions I was coming up with when i was trying to figure it out. Any way, just wanted to post on how beautiful your TTD photos are. Is your dress ruined at the end or is it just wet and ridiculously dirty?

Depending on WHERE you trash the dress, the dress is usually wet and ridiculously full of sand.  But it's not really too dirty.  Most of the black stains from dancing at your wedding actually wash off!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
