hi,

im looking into getting married at dreams los cabos, i would like some help figuring out how much it is going to cost me.. if anyone could help that would be great, we have about 50 guests all staying at the resort, id like to do the ultimate package that is $2999 but it says there is an additional charge for more than 20 people? and does anyone know how much that cost actually is and what do they set up for beach wedding and reception for that $2999? is it just plain chairs and plain tables? any help would be much appreciated!!

It depends on which menu you pick...I don't know if/when the prices will change but I am ordering from the silver menu so my cost is 65.00/pp.  I actually sat down and did the math and since I am not using their photographer, their stylist or the trio, it was cheaper for me to just get the complimentary package and pay per person for the meals.

Also, plain white ties, napkins, etc. are included but you can change the colors if you want.  The price for napkins were 2.00 each and ties are 3.00 each...

Hi Ashley,

We had the ultimate package with the surf and turf with 33 guests.  We paid an extra $67 per person for 13 people since the first 20 were included.  For the setup we paid extra for the huppah on the beach ($200), the tiffany chairs ($8 pp) and sparklers ($3 pp).  (FYI these prices may have changed since last year)  Everything else we brought on our own including menus, lanterns for centerpieces, and banners.  We paid for a photographer on our own and DJ.  My review is here if it helps: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/products/dreams-los-cabos-suites-golf-resort-spa-all-inclusive/reviews/5531

good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
