For our guest book, I was thinking of making a non-laminated scrapbook of our engagement pictures and then having a question on each page for our family and friends to write in their answers/suggestions.   Example: Have a picture on one page and at the top or bottom have a question that says " What are 3 things we should do before having children?"  and leave the page beside that blank for people to fill in. But I think this may be time consuming for guests to write in, so I may just pass it around our families when we are home or bridal showers, etc.

I love your idea...Since I wanna get marry in Dominican Republic maybe I should look for something that represents D.R or like a paradise cover book..but thanks for that great idea..

We found a really nice coffee table book with beautiful pictures of Mexican architecture and homes. We had everyone sign the inside cover. Now we can keep it out all the time and it doesn't look "wedding-y."

LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea!!! I might still do postcards for our mexico wedding and then find a book down there and use it for our home reception.  depending on the book, maybe people will be able to sign anywhere in the book since there will be more room for all of them. how unique!

I love the finger print trees!  And for destination weddings, I LOVE the palm tree :)  It holds a lot less finger prints and still represents your theme of a destination wedding.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
