Ive heard of dogs and parrots delivering the rings, but never a monkey doing it though! not sure how you would even go about renting one! You want to be careful though, a hotel in Thailand i went to had a so called tame monkey to take photos with tourists...and then one day it bit someone in the face! imagine that  happening in your wedding!!

Lol ya that could happen but just like with any other animal unless is your own. And if it did happen it would be a crazy story to tell when u get back... lol

We have been to Mexico before and we took picture with monkeys, and we have been to the monkey temple in Indonesia, and nothing ever happen other then the monkeys stiling sunglasses and hats in exchange for bananas.

Our wedding coordinator knows someone that has monkeys and she is going to ask if we can rent them for a couple of hours....

Hopefully the monkey that we get is nice and friendly....jiggy.gif

Also if you want a Mayan ceremony is about 7000 to 10000 depending on the number of artist that u are having. We are just having a sand ceremony and is free. just paying for the decoration for the altar and stuff...

The main reason that we decided to have it here is because we wanted to have monkeys Karla is our wedding coordinator and she is great. she is on skype almost everyday and if i have any new ideas or questions she is on it... she already found 2 monkeys that i can rent.

I also have menues, lots of pic (they also have it on facebook look at akiin tulum).

Hope these helps, let me know if there is any other info that u need,

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
