I LOVE this thread... I am a very proud crazy dog lady, and it breaks my heart that my puppy can't be at the wedding! We are having a local party a couple months after the wedding where he will be at! He is my fiance's and my FIRST child (;

I love the table numbers having a picture of the dog incorporated. I am totally stealing this idea! Might even have his picture attached to my bouquet.... Why not?! He's my child. HAHA

Four Weddings is a reality TV show, where four brides compete with each other to see who has the best wedding.  Brides go to each other's weddings and score points for dress, venue, food. etc.  Some unseen judges also score points, to combat brides low scoring each other.  The winning couple gets a free honeymoon.  It's a fun show to watch, but sometimes an aggravating one, because when you see a bride who spent $200K on a wedding beat out a bride who spent $2K, it's kind of sick to see the former couple get the free honeymoon they could obviously pay for themselves.  Some women just want their wedding on TV, of course.

The bottom picture is what we are doing at our destination wedding. We are going to have our husky and schnoodle cutouts on each side of the aisle as we walk in...I'm going for the humor aspect of it, but if you don't want to incorporate them in the ceremony space, you could have cutouts for the reception. They'd be cute props for a photobooth too.

Hi all,

I just wanted to share what we did for our pets at our destination wedding...it was actually a surprise to me!   My fiance had them add these photo charms of our pets to my bouquet.  I was so surprised/happy that of course I cried and almost ruined my make up, Lol.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
